ThreatRate Risk Management runs a remote unpaid internship program several times a year. Calls for applications are advertised on this page from time to time.

ThreatRate is currently seeking interns for its 2017/2018 remote internship program.

Applicants should have a proven excellent command of written English and a reliable Internet access. We are currently seeking translators who speak Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese. Speakers of other languages are also welcome to apply, but priority will be given to the mentioned languages speakers.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Successful candidate should be native speaker of one of the above-mentioned languages and must be able to produce clear and concise translation from mother language (Russian, Arabic etc.) into English.
• Candidates should have the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
• Candidates will be expected to work at least 5 hours per week

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE

• Search open sources for K&R/terrorism and other security related events and provide translation to English
• Based on the intern background and proven ability, conduct security country/regional perils analysis research and develop reports
• Assist in translating company publications, writing and translating internal company reports and briefings.
